Amandine Rovini

The research interests of Dr A. Rovini focus on the biological and fundamental relevance of interactions between tubulin and mitochondria in physiological and pathological contexts such as cancer and neurodegeneration. Over the years, she extended her line of investigations towards a better understanding of the mitochondrial outer membrane channels (VDAC) in mitochondrial functioning and consequences of its regulation by endogenous partners in cancer metabolism, stemness and neurotoxicity. Models employed range from in silico, recombinant proteins, human cancer and hiPS-derived neurons to 3D multi-culture systems.
