Dmitriy Klyuyev, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor. Since 2003 he worked at the Department of Biological Chemistry of the Medical University of Karaganda, in 2018 he headed the department.

Since September 2021 - Director of the Research Center of the Medical University of Karaganda. Research interests - oxidative metabolism, physicochemical properties of biological fluids, metabolism of blood cells depending on environmental conditions. For a long time he studied type 2 diabetes mellitus, secondary arterial hypertension, community-acquired pneumonia. Currently he is involved in projects devoted to the study of molecular changes in neuropathology (Alzheimer's disease and secondary neuropathies).
